Hello Fresh is a food subscription box service that helps you discover the joys of cooking! For those of us who are not born to be cooks, Hello Fresh makes it easy since they deliver everything you need for three full meals to you -- fresh, overnight. You will be given five recipes to choose from on the site, you choose three of them (the vegetarian menu only has three options at this time, however.)

This includes the meat, the veggies, basically anything called for on the recipe card. Very rarely you may need to add butter, olive oil, salt and pepper or small amounts of common household ingredients, since these can't always be shipped easily. However, everything you need will generally be found in your Hello Fresh delivery package, which will look something like this:

The box is very heavy and is carefully packed with icepacks. FedEx keeps it refrigerated and delivers Hello Fresh! to customers every Thursday. Mine arrived around mid-afternoon. 

The bags inside were are labeled so you know exactly which food goes with which recipe. The food was all very cold but not frozen so we were able to start cooking almost right away. The recipe cards make it so easy, it really is amazing. You get step by step instructions with helpful photos. 

My meals: Seared Scallops with Brussels Sprouts, Mexi-Turkey Taco Salad, and Steak Over Noodles with Thai Peanut Sauce.

Hello Fresh costs $69 ($59 for vegetarian) for a three-meal box for two. It must be noted that the portion sizes are huge so it can really feed more than two unless the two have huge appetites! For each of the two meals I've made thus far, we had three adults eat and had a little left over as well. And that was with me eating more than I ever eat...I was loving the steak and noodle meal so much you'd have thought I was in a competitive eating contest (yes, the steak and thai peanut sauce noodles were THAT amazing.)
