Beauty Box Five December 2014 Review: Beauty Box 5 Review!

Beauty Box Five is a beauty subscription box that sends subscribers either four or five (usually five) items each month in a little blue box. The price is $12/monthly, however you can get a three month sub for $30, which brings it in at $10 per month. This is the December 2014 Beauty Box Five review.

Body Drench Daily Moisturizing Lotion (2 fl oz, retail around $2.99): This is in the scent "Sugar Cane" which is a wonderful yummy scent. I've tried this brand once before in BB5 and was impressed so was pleased to get the lotion. It's already in my purse and being used regularly.

Ofra Lipgloss Plumper (retail $13, full size!): This is a shade called "Sultry" and I was very happy to get this. Never tried the brand and I'm always happy to get plumpers, especially full size products like this!

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer(retail about $1): This is a nice little sample size with multiple uses. Not super excited as this is a very familiar brand to me, however this is so convenient for traveling that it will be used swiftly.

Nyx Love in Rio Palette (retail $6): This is "Moonlit Skinny Dip" which is filled with three very useable colors. I've been enjoying the Nyx palette that FabFitFun sent out as a bonus this season so was pleased to see this.

Sam Villa Hairbrush Cleaner (retail $5): Definitely the surprise of the box because I love this handy little tool so much.

The brush cleaner has both bristles and hard plastic teeth to pull the matted hair out of hair brushes, making it easy to keep them clean. Very useful!

Very nice Beauty Box Five this month! I'll use every item, and I got some "known" brands along with a new gadget I loved.  As usual with BB5, I feel like it was certainly $10 well spent (I've got the 3-month sub that makes it just $10/monthly.) This is a really different subscription from Ipsy and Birchbox, but they all three have their place for me and I would be hard pressed to choose just one as they are all so different.
