Meet SeasonsBox: Luxurious, Creative -- and Environmentally -Conscious!

Lifestyle sub boxes are becoming more popular every day, and there are plenty of lifestyle boxes for subscription box reviews -- but some of them really stand out. One of the things I love about a truly great lifestyle sub is that it gives you items for several different areas of your life.  Beauty items, health/wellness products, items for the home, unique accessories, delicious snacks... a good lifestyle sub is cohesive and well rounded. In its second month, newcomer SeasonsBox is already exactly that -- a well rounded lifestyle sub box.

Beautifully packaged, inside and out!

This is an environmentally-conscious box, meaning that the products you receive will be not just good for you, but good for the planet we live on as well. Items are sourced from all over the world: January curators chose items from craftsmen in Thailand and the U.S.  Information about each product, and why it was chosen, is included -- making this a true journey of product discovery. The packaging is pure understated elegance.
Perhaps the most intriguing thing about SeasonsBox is its approach to choosing the products you get. The theme each month is based upon the season. The January box is the one I received, and the theme was "Soft and Cozy" -- exactly what we are all craving when the cold weather of January is beating us down! The box fit that theme so beautifully: Each and every item was clearly chosen with attention to detail, keeping the theme foremost in mind. How very different from some other lifestyle subscription boxes where the theme seemed at best fragmented -- or at worst, nonexistent.

Detail of Vance Kittira scarf packaging.
The first item I pulled out was the scarf. Simply stunning, huge soft cotton scarf. Clearly hand-woven, and very expensive looking. The huge scarf (it measures 73 inches long!) is from the Kittira Boutique, and is 100 percent hand woven cotton crafted by hill tribes in North Thailand. Each scarf is hand dyed with all natural ingredients like bark extract. I can think of nothing that better encapsulates the words "soft and cozy" than this scarf.  Perfect, right down to the way it was elegantly packaged.

Beautifully harmonizing collection of items!

-Pillar candle, also from Vance Kitira, is completely hand poured using the best quality food-grade paraffin via Taiwan. These no-drip candles have cotton wicks and a remarkable burn time of 60 hours. The scent is Caramel Pear and it is absolutely divine. Sweet, decedent, but not too overpowering at all.

-Whipped Shea Butter, from Whispering Willow. The peppermint scented shea butter is absolutely wonderfully scented, and extremely moisturizing.

-Organic Bath Tea, a Thai Herbal Steam Bath. This bath tea soak is detoxifying and completely organic. Made with herbs and essential oils, it's the perfect way to relax in a steaming hot bath as you put the cold outside far out of mind. This item was especially nice because the wrapper is created from all-natural seeded paper: Plant the wrapper and you'll have wildflowers growing -- a gift for next season as well.

-Bonus Item: The Perfumessence organic shower/bath bomb. This little bath bomb is full of amazing scent. It's truly invigorating and is great for relieving congestion and aiding in relaxation thanks to its eucalyptus, lavender, and rosemary essential oils.
