Ipsy GlamBag Review March: Let's Sail Away!

Ipsy did a nautical theme this month and it was an interesting bag. I did love some parts of it, but overall it's definitely not my favorite ipsy. The bag itself is just darling: A navy and white, with anchors printed all over it. I was glad to see a print bag again since we've had solid colors for months now.

The Juice Beauty Hydrating mist (one oz sample size) is a refreshing spray that feels rather like a toner (a bit of a tingle when sprayed onto the face.)

The LA Fresh Makeup Remover Wipes are a travel pack of wipes (8-pack) that were a welcome inclusion, if an unspectacular one. These are great wipes for travel or for daily use (after workouts for example) and they are very cheap (a couple bucks or less normally!)

The next item, or rather two items were individual tiny pots of shadow from Yaby.  They sent out different shades, but my two are So Vein (green) and Sand Dune (tan.)
They may seem like an odd addition until you look at the big item in this month's ipsy bag....

The GlamRX palette! I love this palette. It is an empty palette with a mirror and a magnetized bottom. Just perfect for sliding the two pots of Yaby shadow in.

The photo above is just for size indication. In the right half of the palette you see the mini Coastal Scents quad we got from ipsy recently. There is a fair amount of room in this palette, and it would easily fit a whole host of tiny mini pots or even two of entire little quads like the Coastal Scents ones ipsy has given us a few times in the past (Warning -- do NOT depot the Coastal Scents ones as they are not magnetized.  I'd recommend adding a magnetic strip to the back of the whole entire quad instead of trying to depot.) Looking forward to playing around with this palette and seeing what kinds of combos I can come up with!

This month was not nearly as amazing as usual for Ipsy.  However, it wasn't terrible and was largely saved by the inclusion of the GlamRX palette. It just wasn't as great as Ipsy has been lately. For $10 per month though, a few less than stellar months are really okay by me and I look forward to April.
