Little Passports Review: A Childrens Subscription Boxes Review

Little Passports is one of the most creative, and most fun, kids boxes I've seen yet. I decided to try this one out because of my nephew. He loves to read and is always fascinated by stories about kids in different countries. This subscription box is kind of like a trip in a box, and I had a feeling that it would be a super fun summer activity for Landon. There are two versions of Little Passports: The World Explorer (ages 5-10) is the one you see in this Little Passports review, and there is also a USA Explorer (ages 7-12.)

This Little Passports review covers the starter box, which is always the first box of any subscription with Little Passports. This little adventure kit, which costs $10.95 (free shipping) monthly, allows your child to participate in the worldwide adventures of cute young characters named Sam and Sofia.

The Little Passports starter suitcase:
The starter suitcase is so incredibly cute! It's made from sturdy cardboard with a latch that closes firmly.

Within the suitcase is everything your child needs to get started with Little Passports: The letter from Sam and Sofia that introduces them to your child, a huge map of the world, a passport book, some stickers for the map and/or passport, and a sheet with games and activities.  Your child will also gain access to special online games and interactive fun within the starter kit.

Landon really loved exploring this whole kit and was very excited to place the map in his bedroom. He proudly showed off his passport book and told me which countries he wanted to visit the most, and was quite enthused about learning more about each place that Sam and Sofia would be visiting.

Geography has never been Landon's favorite thing in school, but this got him to be interested in it painlessly because it's such an interactive subscription box. I think we'll be keeping this subscription because they go to a different country each month and will send items like cds, arts & crafts, photos, and projects themed around the country of that month. The site lists the countries as including: France, Australia, Japan, Egypt, Brazil, China, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, and India. If you are looking for something to help keep your child's brain stimulated this summer, this might be a great choice.
