Loot Crate Reviews: August Loot Crate Review!

This month marks the one-year anniversary of Loot Crate's launch, and we got a special "Cake" themed box as a result. We were told ahead of time that we would receive a tee shirt, but that was the only real spoiler that I knew about until the box arrived. The tee shirt is my favorite tee yet from this sub, and I think they did a great job on the box as a whole!

The big item: A tee shirt from Woot! This is my favorite Loot Crate tee yet because it is caffeine themed. Of course caffeine is something near and dear to pretty much any gamer, so this shirt is something I fell in love with the second I saw it.

Funko Walking Dead Vinyl Figures: Well I didn't get the uber-rare one, but I am a total sucker for these mystery boxes, CCG booster packs, etc. Which is probably why I am the perfect Loot Crate recipient. Walking Dead is the most-requested franchise in all of the Loot Crate surveys, and they responded with fun items like this.

Three Aperture Laboratories items: A lanyard (LOVE), a rubber bracelet, and a sticker. Already have the lanyard in use.

A little triangle pack of Jelly Belly jelly beans. Well, of course I love these. I only wish there had been more!

This month a mini magazine, called "Cake," replaced the usual product card. This is a great addition to the box! Since it says "Issue 001" I'm hoping this might be in future boxes as well.
