August 2013 GlossyBox Review

This August Glossybox review is coming to you in September, thanks to the very end of the month shipping times coupled with my vacation. Although the shipping is slow, Glossybox is always a great value at $21 monthly since it gives us around five high end cosmetics, skin care, and hair care samples. Often, we get a full size product that pays for the whole box, as with this month.

Glossybox for August 2013

Airelle Intense Moisturizer: This is a deluxe sized sample of a very pricey cream (the full size 1.7 oz is $116) that provides deep hydration, brightens, and improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Novex Brazillian Keratin Hair Treatment (full size 3.5 oz, $4.99 retail): This imparts moisture to the hair, especially for the winter months. It gives you replenishing hair proteins that lend extra shine. A great new product that I was happy to discover!

Sue Devitt Triple C-Weed Pressed Powder (full size, $28): This gives great shine control and is really silky feeling. The color is called "Quiet and Still" and is the lightest of their shades.

Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me Facial Spray (100 ml, $9 retail): A very nice refreshing face spray that contains lavender and peppermint extracts.

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush (full size, $18 retail): This is a UK brand that has some products that are widely praised in the beauty world, so glad to see this. While it appears sheer, it has nice pigmentation and is really a good product.

Guess Makeup Bag With GlossyBox Branding: How cute! I always love getting makeup bags and found it a nice touch that they collaborated with Guess for this.

 Overall, a great month for Glossybox!
